New Role, New Email, New Address :)
Dear friends and Path-ers,
With this email I would like to share with you that - following the merger between FIMELA Network and KapanLagi Group - effective from March 2014, I will be commencing my new role as the Creative Director of KL Network. In regards to this, I will no longer be involved in the daily operation of FIMELA Network’s editorial team. But, as a part of the marketing team, I look forward to support the editorial of KL Network in exciting new perspectives.
With this new role, I will be supporting the Sales and Marketing team in creating strategies and innovations for editorial content, community engagements and online as well as offline activations. For both internal branding and client services.
All future correspondence in regards to editorial purposes such as coverage invitations to press conferences and product launches as well as press releases should be addressed to Ratna Irina as the Editor in Chief of FIMELA Network (firstname.lastname@example.org) or the Managing Editors, Syarahsmanda Sugiartoputri (email@example.com) and Febria Silaen (firstname.lastname@example.org). This feels like a match made in heaven, and as predicted a match that Jeremy Scott as the new Creative Director of Moschino gobbled up with glee! A natural pairing of Moschino’s tounge in cheek attitude with Scott’s love of trashy reference and insta-fame pop culture. In less than a month, these ensembles will no doubt popped up on Katy Perry, Rita Ora and a gang of K-Pop girl band. Which in turn, will inspire a whole load of knock offs. Just wait and see. Or participate if you feel like joining what I think will be the season’s most copied looks.
This collection definitely got me excited, although some references were a bit too obvious and jarring. Hopefully, as seasons goes by, Jeremy Scott will find more excitement beyond taking a piss and having fun through trashy references. – View on Path.
